I think the birds were taking it easy on this Christmas day, mostly Redwings but over at Shipley at dusk hundreds of corvids, Crows, Rooks and Jackdaws noisily going to roost at Mapperley.
Cotmanhay. 30 Redwing, 2 Mistle Thrush. Botany Bay. Great Spotted Woodpecker, 60 Redwing, 3 Bullfinch, 10 Long-Tailed Tit, 2 Common Gull. Tathams Pond. 50 Redwing, 20 Fieldfare, Grey Heron.
